Yoga is a tool with many benefits, including reduced stress,increased relaxation and greater flexibility. It is a best physical as well asmental exercise for the human body. Yoga techniques provide improved attention in studies, better stamina and co-ordination for sports and a heightenedawareness and balanced attitude for social activity. However, there are some precautions regarding it. Yoga may be done in the inspection of Yoga-Guru.. Thepurpose of yoga is to increase awareness, self-regulation and higher consciousness in the individual. Yoga education helps in self discipline andself-control, leading to immense amount of awareness, concentration and higher level of consciousness. Yoga education can enhance all the activities of thestudents, be it sport or social or academic, Every year the college celebratesthe annual Yoga Day program. The NSS, Red Cross, NCC, Sports and cultural teamtake part in this day. The trainer comes from nearby schools, or other places.The International Yoga day is not just a formality but it is a full dayWorkshop.
First International Yoga Day held on 21.06.2015 in the College:Dr. S. K. BHARDWAJ INAUGRATED THE FIRST YOGA DAY PROGRAM IN COLLEGE WITH CONVENOR DR. DINESH NAMDEV AND CO-CONVENOT SRI B. M. SAHU. CHILDREN OF YOGA SCHOOL OF VILLAGE-MARRA TAKE PART IN THE FIRST YOGA DAY IN COLLEGE CAMPUS WITH THEIR COACH SRI VERMA JI AND PUSKAR VERMA.
YEARLY INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY PROGRAM is celebrated by the college. It is held in the Patron of the Principal. Every year the Yoga Teacher Sri Pushkar Verma, Sports officer Dr. Dinesh Namdev, NSS officer Sri B. M. Sahu, students of the college and staff member take part in it.
In 2021, the 7th International Yoga Day celebrated ONLINE. Many student got online e-Certificate this year.
