The department of Computer Application established from session 2013-14, by introducing a program on PGDCA. This is a one year computer diploma program under the self-financing scheme. 
 Initially the intake was 25. From 2022-23, onwards, it increased by 60. From 2023-24, the Department will start the one year diploma program, namely, DCA (Diploma in Computer Application under the self-financing scheme.  Both the programmes are affiliated to Hemchand Yadav University Durg.  Since the programmes are being run by the Janbhagidari Committee, the posts of Teachers are sanctioned by the local Self-Management committee (also called the Janbhagidari Prabandhan Samiti) to run the self-financing programmes
